Food Sovereignty Regional Meeting South West

The local meeting of a global movement

When: 10th Februray – 3pm till 7pm

Where: St. Werburgh’s Community centre, Horley Road, Bristol, BS2 9TJ

Following the UK food sovereignty forum in June 2012, organisers in the South West want to strengthen regional networks. This meeting will be an opportunity for producers & anyone organising for food sovereignty to engage in national and local planning for the food sovereignty movement.

Come to this meeting to:

  • Meet local people from the food sovereignty movement
  • Check in with others from the national movement
  • Decide on a focal campaign for the movement
  • Plan for the world social forum
  • Plan for Via Campesina UK

Discussions will be followed by a meal of great local food brought and shared by the participants.

Sleeping spaces will be made available for those who need them.
